Our story begins in 1985.
1985
1985 Our family-owned freight brokerage company, Capital Traffic, was created in a humble basement office in Kitchener, Ontario. We quickly learned that success wasn’t only about moving goods, but also about understanding what our customers need and finding ways to meet them. So, as our customers’ needs grew, so did we.
1996
1996 We added customs documentation, bonds, and our own trucking services through Capital Traffic’s sister-company, Capital Southern Transportation. But as our customers and their needs grew, we jumped at the opportunity to evolve our services and build deeper connections with our long-term customers.
2017
2017 We created our warehousing company, Capital Southern Warehousing, to assist customers in all stages of the transportation process — from storing raw materials, to transporting materials for further manufacturing, to storing finished goods, and to delivering your goods to their destination.
From that basement office, our growth is a direct result of listening to our customers and building lasting, long-term relationships with them. We remain committed to the hands-on, problem-solving approach that has defined Capital Southern for decades.
